Claudette Bertha (DeGreenia) Dashnaw, 58, passed Friday, January 18, 2019 at Concord Hospital in Concord. After a long illness, with her family by her side. She was born on February 23, 1960 in Concord, daughter of Claude E. DeGreenia and Bertha M. Bowers.
Claudette attended Merrimack Valley High School. She worked for 31 years as an L.N.A. at the State of NH, and McKerley's/Genesis as a G.N.A.S. She was "L.N.A. of the Year" for the State of NH in 2001, which was celebrated at the State House with Gove. Jeanne Shaheen.
You could find her on her off-time spending time with her family. She loved being surrounded by her grandbabies, Joshua, John, Kaylee, Jeremiah, Jayden, Jordyn, Gabriel, and Anthony, with the help of her husband, John. She spent most of her career working with the elderly. While working with the elderly, she always made sure that she'd take that extra step to make sure every patient felt loved, and held many hands of those who had no one else's hand to hold.
Claudette was predeceased by her parents; sister, Dorothy Hollins; brother-in-law, Anthony Dashnaw, brother-in-law, James Brown; sister, June Bond; sister, Judy Meausa; and grandchild Haley Dashnaw.
Claudette is survived by husband of more than 40 years, John K. Dashnaw, sons, John Dashnaw (Kristin) and their children, John Jr., Jeremiah and Jayden; Joshua Dashnaw (Nicole) and their children, Gabriel, Anthony, Joshua, and Kaylee; Jared Dashnaw (Katie Keller) and their daughter, Jordyn; daughter-in-law, Sarah Zurline, mother of Joshua and Kaylee, and Claudette and John's adopted Grandson, Jakobie Dashnaw, sisters, Nancy Thompson, Patricia Dow, Claudia Wallace, Diane Roberts, Debra Brown, and Teresa Descoteaux, brothers, Richard DeGreenia, Alfred DeGreenia, and Gary Blake.
SERVICES: A celebration of her life will be after cremation, during the warmer month, exact date has yet to be set. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe that can be found on facebook or to John K. Dashnaw, 26 Lilac St., Penacook, NH 03303.
