Colette Demers, 76, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and loved ones, October 10, 2024. She lived in Salem, NH for over 35 years. She was born to Alexandre and Adrienne (Belanger) Houle on October 27, 1947 in Vimmy, Quebec Canada and raised in Thetford Mines, Quebec Canada.
Colette was a devout Catholic and loved her family. She loved spending time with them. She is survived by her beloved husband Jean P. Demers; her children Daniel Demers and his fiancée Cathy Sallese, Jo-Ann Rose and her husband David Rose; her sister Denise LaCasse and her brother Alain; her brother in-law Jim Margeson; her grandchildren and “the loves of her life” Ryan and Amy Demers, Dylan, Dominick, and Dawson Rose; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents Alexandre and Adrienne; her brothers Robert and Clement; her sister Lucy Margeson; brother in-law Claude LaCasse; and sister in-law Jeanine Nadeau-Houle. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Amedisys Hospice for the compassion and care they gave both to Colette and family in her final days.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a mass, celebrating Colette’s life.
Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 40 Main Street in Salem, NH on Monday, October, 28 starting at 10:30 AM.
