Constance D. Landry

Constance D. “Connie” Landry, of Manchester, died November 22, 2004 at Ridgewood Center Health Care, Bedford, NH. She was born in Manchester, NH on November 7, 1930 and was the daughter of Joseph and Albina (Lambert) Martel and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. She was a short order cook and was an avid gardener. Family members include six sons; Paul Hargis, Leo Hargis, John Hargis, all of Manchester, Gary Hargis of Concord, Lionel Landry and Steve Landry, both of Manchester, a daughter, Darlene Hargis of Manchester, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, three brothers; Real Martel of Goffstown, Ovila Martel of Concord and Andy Martel of Manchester, a sister, Theresa Taylor of Londonderry, NH, several nieces, nephews and cousins. IN HER LIFE: She loved her family. Connie loved to knit sweaters. She loved the beach and enjoyed fishing. SERVICES: A Memorial Reception will be held at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire Chapel, an affiliate of Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, on Monday afternoon, November 29th at 2 O’Clock with the service immediately following at 3 O’Clock.
