Corey Hill Allen

Corey Hill Allen, 34, of Greenfield, MA, passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2023 at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, MA. He was born on March 15, 1989, in Nashua, NH to Scott Allen and Diane Labounty Bower.

After graduating from Souhegan High School in Amherst, NH, Corey continued with a career as a chef within the restaurant industry, lastly at Mesa Verde. He was a very talented cook; he could take a bottle of mustard and a slice of cheese and whip up a 4-course meal with it.

Corey was a naturally gifted artist whether that be painting or photography. He loved music and played the drums and guitar and frequently attended concerts. He was always up for an adventure and liked exploring different places, at one time living in Durango, CO, and Chicago, IL, before settling down in Greenfield, MA. Above all, Corey will be remembered most for his kindness and generosity to all those who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind his mother and stepfather Diane Labounty Bower and David Bower; his father and stepmother Scott Allen and Carolyn Trombly; sisters Christine Levesque and Kathryn DiTullio; nephews Wesley Perry and Justin Perry; niece Pepper Levesque; and significant other Becca Katsoulis and her son Jace.

A Gathering will be held at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire located at 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH 03104 on November 17th 5-7 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 pm.
