Cynthia A. King

December 28,1946 – September 21, 2026

Cynthia King of Hooksett, NH, peacefully passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the age of 79, at home surrounded by the people she loved most. She was born in Boston, MA and raised in Danvers, MA. She was the daughter of the late Cecile Hall and Leo Hyman.

Cynthia was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She found her greatest joy in her family and treasured every moment spent together. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and loved being in the stands cheering them on in either their sports or activities. To those who knew her best, she will forever be remembered as the dedicated “Softball Grammy,” always there to support, encourage, and celebrate her family.

Cynthia loved trips to the beach, she enjoyed spending time with loved ones and creating memories with her family. In her earlier years she found joy in baking cakes for family and friends for any type of celebration such as birthdays, baby showers and weddings, a tradition that brought sweetness to countless family celebrations.

Cynthia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nick King, both her parents, siblings, Beverly, Thomas, Larry, and Debbie.

Cynthia leaves behind her daughter, Paula Wilson and partner James Perier; her granddaughter Kaylee Wilson; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Bella, and Cece, who brought her tremendous love and happiness into her life. Cynthia is survived by her sister Leona Weiner, brother Leo Hyman and his wife, Linda, along with several nieces and nephews, extended family members “The Brooks Girls” who will forever cherish her memory.

Cynthia’s greatest legacy is the love she shared and the cherished memories she created with her family. Her presence brought warmth to those around her, and she will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in her family’s hearts.

There will be a Mass Memorial Service on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2pm at the Holy Rosary Parish, 21 Main Street, Hooksett, NH. Then followed by a Celebration of Life, tbd.

Burial will be Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 9am at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
