Cynthia L. LeMay

Cynthia Lynn LeMay (Slaiby), 69, of Rochester, NH born to William and June (Bennett) Slaiby in Torrington, CT passed away surrounded by family on March 12, 2024. Cynthia was the eldest of 7 children and grew up in Acton, MA.  

With Charlie Gilleney, she had her first son George Gilleney. She later married her late second husband Terry Keator Sr. They had Sandra - married to Michael Janczyk, and Terry Keator Jr - married to Helen and Amanda Morse. 

Cindy loved being around family and had much pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow. She also loved knitting, crafts, as well as playing cards, pool and skeet shooting tournaments. You could always count on Cindy for a good laugh and lots of smiles. 

She is survived by her step-mother Jaqueline Slaiby; spouse Joseph Lemay; and siblings, Sandra Palladino, Marie Hardiman, Cheri Bettencourt, Linda Slaiby, and Danny Slaiby; as well as 11 grandchildren: Cory and Haylee Gilleney, Alexandria and Katherine Janczyk, Addieson, Elizabeth, and Harper Keator, Terry Lewis, Sandra Morse, and Xavier and Jackson Harriman. Also many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, brother Billy, and her daughter Amanda.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 23rd from 12-2pm at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A memorial service will follow at 2pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects.
