Cynthia Brow Phinney

Cynthia (Brow) Phinney, 52, of Hampton died April 19, 2003 at Seahaven Nursing Home following a lengthy bout with cancer. Cindy was born on August 5, 1950 in Waterville, Maine, the daughter of the late Edward and Barbara (Brown) Brow. She grew up in Maine and was a parishioner of the Norridgewock Federated Church and was also a CNA at a local nursing home in Skowhegan. She moved to New Hampshire in the early 1980's and was a CNA at Rockingham Nursing Home for 17 years. Cindy was an Elvis and Charlie Pride fan and loved the ocean. In her spare time she enjoyed spending quiet time at the local beaches. Family members include; two sons, Robert "Bob" Phinney of Alexandria, VA and Louis "Scott" Phinney of Bowie, MD; three sisters, Audrey Stapleford of Merrimack, NH, Judy Cleary of Fremont, NH and Sylvia Gilbert of St. Albans, ME; one niece; and one nephew. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110 or to your local Hospice Association.
