Dana McLaughlin

Dana Mclaughlin passed away at his home in New Boston, NH, after a brief illness on May 10, 2023. Born on April 18, 1955 in Stoneham, MA.  He was the son of the late Hazelton (Hank) and Betty Smith McLaughlin.  He was pre-deceased by his parents, a brother Dennis McLaughlin, a sister Lori Provencal, and a son Travis Drouin.

A resident of New Boston for most of his life, Dana worked in construction as a carpenter for many years, most recently remodeling custom kitchens and bathrooms.

He is survived by his wife Joan and children Lindsey Richard, Dustin McLaughlin, Adam Drouin, and Melissa Dougherty.  He was affectionally known as Grampy to his grandchildren Brittany, Zakariah, and Addison.

Dana loved camping in the north country and finding adventure with his wife Joan on his Harley.  He was a gentle, caring man, always willing to lend a hand and help a friend.  He will be deeply missed by everyone lucky to know him. 

A celebration of life will be held on May 24, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Tomahawk Tavern in Merrimack.  All friends and family are welcome!
