Daniel James Cochran passed away February 11th, 2026 at Mount Carmel Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.

Dan was born in Manchester NH on Febuary 24th, 1957. He was the beloved youngest son of William J. Cochran and Catherine healy Cochran. He grew up in Manchester and graduated from Trinity High School, he went on to graduate from the University of Utah and University of Nebraska Law School.

Dan became a successful salesperson for a major home improvement company and was regarded as kind and generous by friends he made and spoke of often with affection.

Dan was a dedicated member of Red Sox Nation and would always impress with his knowledge of the gameand stories of the teams. He loved Rye Beach and taking boat trips offshore for whalewatching. 

Dan is survived by Deborah (Cochran) Ziolko and husband Michael, Linda (Cochran) Walz and her husband Thomas and Robert Cochran and his wife Lori Whitney Cochran as well as nieces and nephews. His sharp wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
