Daniel Eaton

Daniel I. Eaton, 90, of Weare, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at his home.

Daniel was born in Weare on February 24, 1926 to his parent's home. He graduated from Weare High School and joined the military. An honorably discharged veteran, Daniel proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force from 1942 to 1946. He worked at Goodyear for many years and NH Distributor Inc.

Daniel liked hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with all his family and friends. He loved the Red Sox and was a member of the American Legion of Weare, Post 65, for 55 years.

Daniel is survived by his son, Daniel R. Eaton and wife Carol (Flanders) Eaton of Weare; three grandchildren, Wesley Eaton and wife Britt of Hooksett, John Eaton of Weare, and Sandra Eaton of Weare; three great grandchildren, Jacob Eaton, JD Eaton of Weare, and Madison Frink Kendrick of Henniker; and great great grandson, Milo Eaton; three stepsons, Joseph Piroso Jr., Richard Piroso, and Douglas Piroso; three stepdaughters, Carol Sheely-Plourde, Karen Ramsier, and Kathy Piroso; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Ethel Eaton, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage; his stepson, David Piroso; two brothers, Lesley and Lonnie Eaton; and three sisters, Ethel Keegan, Audrey Boyton, and Stella Turner.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at the Moore Cemetery, Loudon Village, Loudon, on Saturday, May 14, at 10:00A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Concord Regional VNA and Hospice, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301.
