Daniel Salvatore Lombardo

Daniel Salvatore Lombardo, beloved husband, father, uncle, brother, and son

Daniel Salvatore Lombardo, 63, of Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, with his loving wife, Sheri, at his side. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Sheri, and a proud father to his son, Tyler, and bonus children, Morgan and Ben Stickney. Dan graduated from West High School in 1979.

He was born on October 23, 1961, in Manchester, New Hampshire, to Salvatore and Francoise (Simard) Lombardo. Dan loved his family and shared a strong bond with his siblings, Pat and Tom. He cherished family above all else and loved his life to bring joy and laughter to those around him.

Dan’s life was a testament to hard work and dedication. He was a small business owner, operating Millyard Home Inspection LLC, a home inspector, contractor, and handyman all in one. Recently, he celebrated 28 years with UPS.

Dan was an artist in many ways. From visual arts, such as wood carvings and drawings, to delicious cooking, like his chicken Marsala or baby back ribs, he put his heart and soul into creating art that everyone would enjoy. He treasured his guitars and gave guitar lessons to local youth. In the 1990s, Dan fronted a band called Mr. Cid, which was prominent on the Manchester music scene. He had recently regrouped with the members for a comeback. We would give anything now to see this comeback. For Dan, art was another way to bring joy to others.

Dan had an unquenched thirst for knowledge. He was a history buff and could beat all contenders at Trivial Pursuit. Dan was witty and sharp and was as quick with his tongue as he was kind with his heart. Recently, he had traveled to Funchal, Portugal, and Madeira, as well as to Sicily, Italy, and Paris, France, with his family to support his “bonus daughter”, Morgan, at the 2024 Paralympic Games. He and his wife, Sheri, had also recently enjoyed a trip back to Sicily, where he was able to connect with his family roots, thereby manifesting his love of knowledge through his investigation of culture and languages.

Dan will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, warm heart, and quiet strength, which he brought to those around him. He lit up the room every time he entered. If you were ever in a room with Dan, you know it was never a quiet room - it was most likely erupting in laughter because of his jokes and stories. His positivity was infectious, and life seemed to radiate from him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and in the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his granddog, Gracie Jo, who lovingly referred to him as Grampa Dan.

Dan is survived by his parents Salvatore and Francoise Lombardo, his wife, Sheri Stickney Lombardo, his son, Tyler Gosselin, “Bonus children” Morgan and Ben Stickney, his sister Patricia Barbato and her husband James, his brother Thomas Lombardo and his wife Diane as well as his nieces and nephews, Victoria, Joe, John, Alyson and Lizzy as well as all the “Littles” Kooper, Jordan, Crew, Amelia, Quinn, Shepard, Julian, Kaylee, Alaina, Cassandra, Gianna and Lucas, who all worshiped and adored their “Unca Dan.”
