On Saturday, July 13, 2019, Daniel Mark Roberts, passed away at the age of 71. Daniel went to be with his Lord, after a shot struggle with cancer. He died peacefully surrounded by his family.
Dan was born on April 4, 1948, in Fitchburg, MA. to Joseph A. and Catherine (Enwright) Roberts.
He attended St. Bernard's Grammar school in Fitchburg, MA. and Alvirne High School, in Hudson, NH. Dan joined the army in 1965 and completed a tour of duty in Vietnam in 1967. When he returned home, Dan committed his life to exercise, travel and the study of Eastern philosophy and through these efforts became a self-taught road scholar.
Dan had a passion for soft jazz, hiking and he loved to sit by the lake and contemplate life's many mysteries.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A Roberts. He is survived by his Mother Catherine and brothers Joseph, Mark, Paul, Philip and sister Catherine as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service will be private. Donations may be sent, in Dan's name, to the Upper Valley Haven, 713 Hartford Avenue, White River Junction, VT 05001.
