Darcie Lynn Dumont, 47, of Hooksett, passed away on April 22, 2023 with her family by her side. Darcie was born in Manchester, NH on February 12, 1976, the daughter of Richard and Janice Duquette.
Darcie attended Manchester West High School, graduating in 1994. In 1998, she graduated from Rivier College (now Rivier University), where she met her husband Joseph Dumont, with a bachelor’s degree in education. After a career teaching, Darcie became employed by Comcast, where she has worked for the past 20 years.
A life-long member of the First Presbyterian Church in Manchester, Darcie loved spending time with her family, friends, and her beautiful dog Layla. Family vacations and adventures with Joe, Cam, and Bren were always filled with peace, joy and laughter. Over the years, she picked up gardening and was so proud of the vegetables she was able to grow and share with everyone. But with all of that, nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than watching her sons, Cam and Bren, play baseball and basketball.
Darcie is survived by her husband Joseph, and her sons, Cameron and Brenden of Hooksett; her parents, Richard and Janice Duquette of Manchester; her sister Julie Purcell and brother-in-law Greg Purcell of Manchester; her brother Randall Duquette and sister-in-law Mary Duquette of Hopkinton; father-in-law Daniel Dumont, Sr and mother-in-law Virginia Dumont of Hudson; brother-in-law Daniel Dumont, Jr and sister-in-law Kimberly Dumont of Hopkinton; 7 nieces and nephews, and several cousins.
Darcie was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Theodore and Simone Duquette, maternal grandparents, Richard and Lena Wagner, biological maternal grandmother Edna Wagner, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
