David N. Bettencourt

David Neil Bettencourt died April 29th, 2024 at The Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on March 31st, 1954, the son of Joseph and Antoinette Bettencourt. 

He was the husband of Cheryl Bettencourt. They were married on August 19th, 1983 in Salem, New Hampshire.

David graduated from North Andover High School in 1973 and resided in Londonderry, New Hampshire after living in Southern California for 16 years.  

David was a retired contractor and loved the beach, cooking, gardening, watching his Boston sports teams and being surrounded by his family that he loved so dearly. 

He is survived by his cherished children: Richard of Big Bear, CA, Joseph of Yucaipa, CA, Jessica of Prineville, OR, and Jacklyn of Merrimack, NH.

Siblings: Joanne Zilonis of Salem, NH, Carol and Rick Hurst of Franklin, NH, Linda and Ray Crowell of Bordentown, NJ and late brother Jack Bettencourt of Miami, FL. 

Grandchildren included: Samantha, Robert, Bella, Skyler, Luke, Dylan, Sophia, Jack, David, Lilly, Trinity and Felicity. 

David’s family would like to thank The Elliot Hospital and their staff for the love and care they provided during David’s final days. 

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Monday, May 6th from 4:00PM - 6:00PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104. 

In lieu of attending the Celebration of Life, those who wish, may make a memorial contribution to the Bettencourt Family.
