David C. Carpenter, 90, of 50 Pheasant Road, Peterborough, NH died on January 21, 2001 at Pheasantwood Nursing Home after a brief illness. Mr. Carpenter was born on December 27, 1910 in Marshfield, MA the son of the late Edwin and Beatrice (Colburn) Carpenter. He worked as a salesman form R H Macy Department Store in Yonkers, NY and then moved to Reading, MA in the late 1960's where he was a stockbroker for Tucker Anthony & Company in Boston. He relocated to Montreal in the 1970's where he owned and operated an Aluminum Siding Company. He then moved to Florida where he remained for over 15 years and finally returned to the North East. He was one of the founding members of the Men's Club in Rindge. Family members include; three sons, David Carpenter, Jr of Rindge, Dexter Carpenter of Charlestown, NH and Duane Carpenter of Oregon; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one brother, John Carpenter of Nashua. He was predeceased by two sons, Dwight Carpenter and Ross Carpenter.
