David A.
Doyle
Mar 22, 1960 — Aug 26, 2026
Center Barnstead, NH
David Arthur Doyle, 66, of Center Barnstead, NH, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, in Burlington, MA, following a short battle with cancer.
David was born in North Kingstown, RI, on March 22, 1960, to Richard A. and Joanne E. (Herrick) Doyle. As the son of a Navy family, David spent his early years in various places around the country before the family ultimately settled in Plaistow, NH. He graduated from Timberlane Regional High School and later attended New Hampshire Technical Institute. David spent his career as a mechanical designer, where he used his analytical mind and creativity to develop innovative solutions for the manufacturing industry.
David is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jeanette (Webber) Doyle. Together, they shared a love of travel and visited more places than could ever be counted. They spent much of their lives enjoying the outdoors, whether camping, hiking, road-tripping, spending time on the water, or exploring the mountains. David was always busy pursuing the things he loved, from searching for new finds to add to his vinyl collection to tackling home projects that he took great pride in. He especially enjoyed taking his best pet friend, Leo, along for a ride.
David lived each day with appreciation and gratitude and was a friend to everyone he met.
David was predeceased by his father, Richard A., and his brothers, John R. Doyle of Plaistow, NH, and Richard “Dickie” A. Doyle of Sanford, ME.
In addition to his wife, Jeanette, David is survived by his mother, Joanne, of Canaan, VT; his sister, Debbie (Doyle) Thompson, of Colebrook, NH; and his nieces and nephew, Deborah Jo Doyle, Katie (Doyle) DeGaetano, Kelly Doyle, and Jason Thompson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at Michael’s Harborside Upstairs in Newburyport, MA.
