David Wayland Graves

David W. Graves, 87, died December 22, 2025 at his home in Keene, NH. He was born on September 16, 1938 in Keene NH, the son/daughter of Olin and Ellen (Houghton) Graves.

He was the husband of Judith (Kauppi) Graves. They were married on July 9, 1960, in Troy, NH.

He was a graduate of University of New Hampshire with a Master of Science for Teachers in Mathematics in June of 1970. He spent the majority of his teaching career teaching 7th and 8th grade mathematics in Chelmsford Massachusetts.

His relationship with Jesus Christ was genuine and faithful. David was a man of few words though caring and kind with the words he spoke. He enjoyed farming and time with his wife and family.

He was predeceased by his son, Craig and daughter Crescent.

He is survived by his son Cory, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 nephew.

No formal services will be held at this time. A graveside celebration of life will be held on May 9th at 10am at the Richmond South cemetery (off route 32) in Richmond NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
