David S. Jore, 59, of 90 North Shore Drive, Barnstead, NH died on July 20, 2000 at Concord Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Jore was born on December 24, 1940 in Fertile, Minnesota the son of the late Daniel and Mary (Sherack) Jore. In Minnesota he was employed as a vocational teacher and then moved to Michigan where he became a Mason. Mr. Jore relocated to NH in 1985 and was a teacher at the Littleton Vocational High School. From 1990 until his death he was the Town of Chester Building Inspector. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed. Family members include; his wife of 25 years, Gloria (Grantz) Jore; five sons, Dale Jore of St. Paul, Minn., Dean Jore of Dunbarton, NH, Eric Jore of Eden Prairie, Minn., Steven Jore of Bloomington, Minn., and Donald Jore of Barnstead, NH; one daughter, Jodie Jore of Salem, MA; five grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Kohls of Farmington, Minn., and Fran Schifsky of Stillwater, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
