David Laflamme, of Littleton, NH, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2026. His loss is felt deeply by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Paige, with whom he shared just shy of 50 years of marriage; his son, Matthew; and close family members: Norman (Sue), Jean Chouinard, Leslie (Dianne), Jayson (Teri), Holly (Jack) Gilbert, and Heather (Aldis) Wright. He is also remembered with love by his nieces, nephews, grand‑nieces, and grand‑nephews.

David was a dedicated and skilled automotive technician who owned and operated his own automotive service business for over 40 years. His work was more than a career — it was a craft he took pride in and a service he offered to his community with honesty and care. After semi‑retiring, he finally found the time to pursue a long‑held dream: restoring a 1951 Ford pickup, a project that blended his mechanical talent with his love of classic vehicles.

He was our best friend — quiet, patient, and kind. A gentle presence who made life feel steadier, and whose loyalty and warmth were felt by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

In the late winter and early spring months, David loved making maple syrup alongside his son — a tradition that reflected his patience, steadiness, and appreciation for quiet, purposeful work. During the summer, he spent his days at the lake enjoying boat rides, sunshine, and time with family. And wherever David was, his dog was never far behind — always by his side or curled up in his lap, a loyal companion who adored him as much as he adored her. These were the moments when he was happiest: surrounded by the people he loved, taking in the simple pleasures of the season.

David also loved to cook, and he took charge of preparing holiday meals. Whether it was a favorite family recipe or a new dish he wanted to try, he poured the same care and attention into cooking that he brought to every part of his life. Those gatherings — filled with his food, his quiet humor, and his steady presence — will be cherished memories for all who sat at his table.

David leaves behind a legacy of craftsmanship, humility, and love. Those who knew him will remember his steady hands, his calm spirit, and the way he showed his care not through grand gestures, but through everyday acts of devotion.

Please feel free to donate to a charity of your choice or to Hearts and Tails Animal Alliance, 35 Daniels Road, Weare, NH 03281. A graveside service will be held with the family.
