David L. Steffen, 43, of Goffstown passed away on Monday, March 11th at Catholic Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones. David was born on June 27th, 1980, in Manchester. He was the husband of Sara (Shannon) Steffen. They were married on Saturday, September 4th, 2010, in Henniker, NH and shared 14 years of marriage.
Prior to serving in the US Marine Corp and receiving his associates degree in film from Full Sail University, David graduated from Manchester West High School. Following his education, David was employed for many years with the Manchester Monarchs AHL Hockey Team, and most recently he was a Community Access Coordinator for the Town of Goffstown for 3 years.
David loved to spend time with his family, building Lego, playing golf, fishing, playing guitar, traveling, attending, and supporting his son’s activities. He enjoyed family gatherings, good food, and loved to make people laugh. David was a part of the Roman Catholic faith and made an impact on the lives of many people. He also loved dogs, especially his dog Brucie and fur nephew Freddie. David was loved by many people, and he will be missed by his family, friends, and the community.
David was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, his cousin; Eric, and paternal uncle; Donald.
He is survived by his wife; Sara Steffen, of 16 years, his three sons; Bradley Steffen (24), Noah Steffen (14), Micah Steffen (12), his sister; Lisa Watson (Steffen), Brother-in-law; Matt Watson, and his nieces and nephews; Kayla Watson, Alex Watson, Trista Voisine, Keegan Drake, Avarie Drake, and Grayden Drake. He is also survived by both parents, mother and father-in-law, many sister and brother-in-laws, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, March 21st from 11:00AM-3:00PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, New Hampshire. A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, March 22nd at Sainte Marie's Roman Catholic Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester, New Hampshire.
