David A. Strausbaugh

David A. Strausbaugh, 57, of Peterborough, NH quietly passed away surrounded by family on November 4, 2023, after a long valiant battle with cancer.

He was born May 12, 1966, in Bridgeport, CT and moved to New Boston with his family when he was 3. He attended New Boston Central School and Goffstown High School. David enjoyed working with his hands and worked as a carpenter and was part of building many homes and barns in New Boston and the surrounding area. He was a repairer of many things and found challenge in taking things apart and fixing them from a very young age. He was the Property Manager where he lived for many years and took pride in helping those who needed help. His favorite passions were hunting, fishing, camping and being with family and friends.

He was loved by many including his father, Larry Strausbaugh and the love of his life, Karen Paris of Peterborough, NH, both predeceased. His children who made him so proud; son Sean Strausbaugh of Peterborough, stepdaughters Meagan Smigielski (her husband James and step grandson Lincoln), Amanda DeYoung (her fiancé Tony), mother Cathy Strausbaugh of New Boston, brother Larry Strausbaugh and sister Wendy Lambert (husband Jason) of New Boston, a brother Chuck Strausbaugh of Schroon, NY and nieces and nephews Heather Doyle (husband James and daughter Ryanne), Julia, Logan and Braeden Lambert and Samantha Strausbaugh.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 25th, 2023, from 2pm – 4pm in the Dignard Family Community Room at the Community Church, 2 Meetinghouse Hill Road, New Boston, NH.
