David R. Walent, 70, died Jan 19, 2018 at CMC Manchester in NH. He was born March 25, 1947 in Nashua, the son of Joseph and Lena Walent
He was the husband of Martha Walent They were married on Oct 11, 1969 Nashua, NH.
David was a graduate of Bishop Bradley, Manchester NH, and attended Keene State College, Keene NH.
Dave was a kitchen designer for many years and retired doing something he truly loved and that was working for STA driving the Merrimack school bus. He enjoyed watching the children grow becoming their own individual selves.
He loved to sew, the Saturday morning trips to OSJL, reading the paper from cover to cover, crossword puzzles, cooking, and watching his favorite TV shows. These things may sound simple. He was a very down to earth simple person who enjoyed the small things in life. He was a comedian and his laugh was hysterical.
He was predeceased by Joseph and Lena Walent, his parents.
Along with his wife, Martha, he is survived by Angela Russo, his daughter of Merrimack, NH, Anthony Walent of Tucson, Az, Richard, his brother and Sandra Walent of Portsmouth NH, Joseph Walent his nephew, Dover NH, Ellen Bensman his niece Minnesota and several cousins.
No formal services will be held at this time. A memorial mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Bedford, NH, in the spring. Family and friends are invited to attend.
