Dean "Dino" Geretti, 63 of Hollis died January 27, 2003 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Nashua following a year battle with cancer. Mr. Geretti was born on September 19, 1939 in New York City, son of the late Arrigo and Yolanda (Moretti) Geretti. He was a U S Army Veteran. He was stationed in Hawaii and was honorably discharged in 1961. Dino worked for Sun Chemical in New York for several years and then transferred to their Chicago office where he was a controller. He moved to Hollis 27 years ago and began working for Kollsman Inc. in Merrimack. He spent 23 years with Kollsman and left as the Vice President of Finance. He remained in the finance industry and worked in Massachusetts and Lexington, Kentucky where he was the Vice President of Finance at Western Atlas. He finally returned to Hollis several years ago. Mr. Geretti was a beloved husband, father, son and brother. He cherished his family and will be missed dearly not only by them but his many friends as well. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football and was a devoted NY Giants fan. He loved listening to jazz music and loved good wine. Family members include; his wife of 33 years, Lurleen "Pat" (Roberts) Geretti; two daughters, Dina Geretti of Boca Raton, FL and Lauren Geretti of Hollis; three sisters, Norma Carr of Port Washington, NY, Louisa Geretti of San Francisco, CA and Wanda DeNicola of Flushing, NY. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 1st at 2:00 at St. John Newmann in Merrimack. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Road NE., Atlanta, Georgia 30329.
