Deborah Elaine Gelinas, of Dunbarton, NH, passed away peacefully at her home on June 4th, 2017.
Born in Lewiston ME on August 22nd 1953, Deborah spent her childhood in Maine, and moved
to NH in her teens. She graduated from Merrimack Valley High School in 1971. Deborah and
her husband, Gerald, raised 10 children and operated a successful business, American Auto
ACS.
In her life, Deborah was a caring mother and wife, wonderful friend and beloved daughter and sister. Deborah cared deeply for her family, including her aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. She enjoyed reading books, watching movies, listening to the oldies, puzzles, trips to Foxwoods and rooting for her favorite driver, Dale Jr.. She had a special place in her heart for her cats. When not at home in Dunbarton, she spent summers in Maine and winters in Florida.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gerald. She is also survived by her mother Cynthia Williamson of Concord, Brother Philip Fyfe Jr. of Lubec, ME, sister Linda Adams of Rockland, ME, and brother Timothy Fyfe of Penacook. The children she leaves behind are Mark Gelinas of Raymond, Christine Kilbride of Raymond, Cynthia Gelinas of Manchester, Mary Christopher of Manchester, Beau Gelinas of Weare, Beth Tirrell of Weare, Jessica Gelinas of Manchester, Bradley Gelinas of Dunbarton, Alan Gelinas of Goffstown, and Timothy Gelinas of Oxford, MI, as well as their spouses, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father, Philip Fyfe Sr.
Her family wishes to thank the staff of Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon and Concord, for the care they provided.
A celebration of life will be planned for the summer.
