Debra Jean Lapollo

Debra Jean Lapollo was welcomed by the angels March 28 peacefully surrounded by family at home after her 12 year journey with cancer. Debra was born March 31, 1960 too Charles J and Eleanor G Toole in Holyoke mass. She was born the sixth out of seven children. deb was raised in Holyoke until 1971 when her family moved to South Hadley mass Debra was educated in the South Hadley school system. She received her associates degree in early childhood development and education from Greenfield community college in 1990.

Debra was a young single mother while working raising a family as well as going to college. She worked as a preschool teacher for 20 years at several local schools.

Debra enjoyed being a mother having three children. She also enjoyed camping in Vermont and Maine with her husband Guy of 28 years. In addition, Debra liked making crafts and was a very talented gnome designer. She thoroughly enjoyed birdwatching as well as her little dog honey.

Debra touched many hearts with her exuberance, grace, and passion, and she will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pioneer Valley Hospice in her name.
