Debra Jo Morello, age 63, peacefully departed this life on November 26, 2018 at the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House in Concord, New Hampshire after a heroic fight with cancer.
The youngest of five girls, Debi was born on July 16, 1955, in Southington, Connecticut. She grew up and attended school in Lexington, Massachusetts. Debi spent the majority of her life working, loving, and living in the Concord, New Hampshire region.
Debi was a free spirit who lived life and met death on her own terms. She found joy in simple times spent with family and friends. Her laugh was infectious and her hugs bone crushing. Debi was a deep woman who loved fiercely and was the first to show up when there was a need. She enjoyed the water and mountains, long drives, scrapbooking, writing, turtles, and reading inspirational books, including her Bible. Her faith, strength, and determination served her all the days of her life. Debi's legacy of love and care will live on in the hearts of those in her circle.
Debi was predeceased in death by her mother Norma Entwistle Ebbs and her sister Constance Gallagher. She is survived by her daughter Julie Steeves of Manchester, N.H., her 3 grandchildren Zachary Pellerin and girlfriend Alyssa Buber, Landyn Pellerin, and Coral-Ann Pellerin, her great granddaughter Alivia, her 3 sisters Dorothy Gray of Plainville, CT, Kathleen Johnson of Lowell, Michigan, and Sherry Wallerce and her husband Marc of Winthrop, MA., and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A Memorial Celebration of Debi's life will be held by family in the summer of 2019 at West Cemetery in Plainville, CT where she will be laid to rest beside her mother and sister.
