Dennis R. Eunson

Dennis Ralph Eunson, age 67 of North Sutton, New Hampshire died June 19, 2015 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in White River Junction, Vermont.

Dennis was born September 21, 1947 and grew up in South Boston. In his youth he attended Saint Augustine Elementary and South Boston High School, where he became a trumpet player for the South Boston Crusaders Precision Marching Band. In 1969 he was drafted into the army and served in Vietnam. As a Vietnam Combat Veteran serving in the 101st Airborne, 1/502, he was awarded medals for Vietnam Service, Combat Infantry, Meritorious Service, Army Meritorious Service, Good Conduct, and Army Commendation. He served in the Advanced Infantry in Vietnam and was a member of the Honor Guard at Fort Rucker. After military service he attended Boston State College and then joined the Boston Municipal Police Force.

He is survived by his lifelong partner Patricia A. Lomans of North Sutton, New Hampshire, his mother Margaret M. Eunson of Concord, Massachusetts, his brother Sean J. Eunson of Maynard, Massachusetts and sister Joan M. Reynolds of Ipswich, Massachusetts.

A life celebration and memorial service will be held on July 11, 2015 at the Venezia Restaurant, 20 Ericsson Street, Dorchester, MA from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
