Dennis Goodapple

Dennis Earl Goodapple passed away on December 13, 2019 at Community Hospice in Merrimack, NH
Dennis was born in Peoria, Illinois on December 9, 1945 to Earl & Gertrude Goodapple, the same day as his sister Jeanette, 11 years his senior. His family moved to California when he was very young, and Dennis grew up in the Glendora/Covina area of Southern California. With a twinkle in his eyes, he was often heard telling tales of mischief that he and his cousin Tom would get into or other shenanigans involving friends or other family members. He loved life. He enjoyed golf, target shooting, cooking and country music. His love of family was fierce and unsurpassed. Dennis' gentleness, kindness and thoughtfulness made him incredibly easy to love. He showed these same traits towards animals. His love of dogs and cats was heartwarming to watch.

Dennis worked in the automotive industry for the majority of his life and was well respected by all of his peers. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when he could whether it be on or off the job. For a time, he managed a country band in Las Vegas, making contacts in Nashville along the way.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gail Goodapple of Nashua, NH, his son David Goodapple of Las Vegas, NV, daughter Dawn Marshall of Stratford, NJ, step daughter Laura Tighe of Sacramento, CA, step son Steven Tighe of Rialto, CA, his grandchildren Heather Brown, Andrew Goodapple, Jacob Goodapple, Jeremy Chandler, Aaron Chandler, Hannah Marshall, Jessi Delaney, Carly Tighe, Amber Tighe, Payton Tighe, Kaila Goodapple, David Goodapple and Amanda Nielson, great grandchildren Elijah Brown, Christian Brown, Hope Brown, Caleb Brown, Kain Nielson, Grayson Goodapple, Adam Goodapple, June Chandler, and great great grandson Kaison Brown, his cousin Tom Burdess, niece Treasure Bean, and numerous great nieces and nephews and in-laws.

No services are planned, however there will be a celebration of life for him at a later date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH.
