Dennis Russell Harrison, age 75, of Penacook, New Hampshire, formerly of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, devoted husband, cherished father, proud brother, and loyal friend, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Born and raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, in a small home on Quirico Drive with his three brothers, Shaun, Brian, and Tommy, and his sister, Theresa, Dennis was a proud alumnus of St. Joseph High School, where he played football alongside his brothers and friends. The close-knit bond he shared with his brothers, sister, and their spouses, Pat, Katey, and Dan, remained one of the great constants of his life. He grew to be an extremely talented mechanic, a talent he put to good use in his honorable service to this country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force for nearly a decade. During his service abroad, Dennis met the love of his life, Annabel Victoria Harrison, with whom he spent forty-seven years and raised their four sons: Warren, Damian, Michael, and Ethan.

His sons brought him the things he was most proud of in this life: his beautiful extended family, including his nine incredible grandchildren, Connor, Hope, Lily Rose, Jake, Neveah, Jayden, Silas, Stella, and Samuel; and his beloved daughter-in-law, Natalie. All the while, by his side through so many of life's moments, was his faithful canine companion, Murphy.

Dennis was a truly unique person. Anyone who met him remembered him, which may be the greatest compliment of a life well lived. His family and friends are spread across the world, from Pittsfield, Massachusetts, to Manchester, New Hampshire; from New Mexico to the Netherlands; and from the United Kingdom to Turkey, India, and beyond. Dennis left his mark on a world that he cared deeply for.

Family and friends are invited to gather for his Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 172 King Street, Boscawen, NH 03303. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:00AM at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.
