Epsom—Dennis R. Lee, 61, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Concord Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 31, 1952 in New Haven, CT to the late Gilbert and Vera (Swertfeger) Lee. He was raised and educated in Ansonia, CT. Later in life, Dennis became a New Hampshire resident so that he could be closer to his family. His family was paramount in his life and he loved to spoil his grandchildren. Dennis was a devoted and loving father and the best grandfather a child could ask for.
Dennis loved music, playing pool and was an avid Yankee's fan. Dennis was a talented athlete while attending Ansonia High School. He was elected to the Ansonia Hall of Fame for his exceptional ability at playing baseball.
He is survived by his children, Scott (wife Bridget) Lee of Epsom, Jonathan Lee of Texas, and Alissa Lee of CT, his grandchildren, Jacob Lee, Eliza Lee and Gabriel Lee, his sisters, Donna (husband Randy) Turgeon of Manchester, Doreen (husband John) Harvey of FL., and Karlyn Charest of CT., his Aunt Carol (husband Steve) Squires of CT, his nephew, Christopher Turgeon, his nieces, Carrie Boucher, Nicole Lee, Courtney Palmer, and Morgan Charest, his great nieces, Juliana Blanchette, Emma Boucher, and Gabby Boucher, and many relatives and good friends.
Services: All friends and relatives are invited to attend a Life Celebration on Saturday September 20, 1pm to 3pm at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire 243 Hanover Street Manchester, NH 03104. Services will begin at 2pm. The family requests memorial donations to be made in Dennis's loving memory to Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, The Slusser Center 30 Pillsbury St. Concord, NH 03301 www.crvna.org
