Diana Lynn Pepino, 59, of Goffstown, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on April 29, 2023, after a 5-year battle with cancer. She is the loving wife of Leo Pepino with whom she has shared over 20 years of marriage.
Diana was born on November 12, 1963 in Manchester to Curtis and Joan (Hutchins) Hardy. She graduated from Central High School and eventually settled in Goffstown with her husband, Leo.
Among many things, Diana was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was an excellent cook and baker. Her favorite memories were baking Christmas cookies with her son and daughter during the holiday season. She worked as the head chef at Goffstown Middle School for a number of years and also spent time working in the Millyard for Dean Kamen. For years, she enjoyed vacations on Lake Horace in Weare with her family.
Along with her husband, Leo, Diana is survived by her two children and lights of her life, Anthony Pepino and his partner Emily Davidson, and Emily Pepino both of Bow; her sister and best friend, Sandra Miller; two very special friends, Kristen and Denise; a niece and two nephews who thought the world of her, Malena Miller, Clinton LaPointe, and Mathias Miller; and her beloved dog and grand-dog, Sampson and Boss. She is predeceased by her parents, Curtis and Joan Hardy, and her brother Jeff Hardy.
Diana was a strong woman, and although her battle with cancer was long, she never stopped fighting. Her family will continue to draw strength in the coming days remembering the woman she was and the bravery she showed.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 11th from 4-7pm at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A memorial service will follow at 7pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
As a frequent and generous donor herself, Diana would have loved if in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate or any local SPCA of your choice.
