Diane C. Needham

Diane C. Needham, 58, of 10 Putnam Road, Newport, NH died on May 5, 2000 at her sister’s home after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Needham was born on January 22, 1942 in Newport, NH the daughter of the late J. Fred and Veronica (Guretsky) Eastman. After graduating from high school she began working for Dorr Woolen Company in Newport, NH and remained with them for 25 years. She was originally hired as a spinner and was promoted to an engineering clerk and then to an engineering technician and finally promoted to a Methods Engineer/Quality Assurance. Diane loved animals. Family members include; her husband, Robert Needham; two daughters, Brenda Nye and Judy Bonsall, both of Newport, NH; one step-son, Gary Needham of Thetford, VT; two grandsons; two brothers, John Eastman of Warner, NH and Robert Eastman of Van Etten, NY; one sister, Sally Avery of Newport, NH; one aunt, Sophie Paul of Newport, NH and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2000 at 2:00 PM at Loon Lake Campground on Reeds Mills Road.
