Diane E. Shackley, 70, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, with her daughter, Christina, by her side. Born on November 6, 1955, in Boston, MA, Diane was raised in Haverhill, MA, and later moved to Manchester, NH, in 2000 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren.

A dedicated employee, Diane spent over 30 years at Scandia Plastics, where she forged lasting friendships and became known for her infectious spirit and selflessness. Many who had the pleasure of working alongside her remembered her not just as a colleague, but as an angel who would help anyone in need.

Diane's love for music was a defining aspect of her life. She enjoyed listening to and playing various instruments, including the guitar, the organ, and the harmonica. Her passion for music brought joy to those around her, and she often shared that joy through the songs she played.

Family was at the heart of Diane’s world. She was married to Daniel for over 30 years, and their relationship stood as a testament to what a loving marriage should be. Diane’s love for her daughter, Christina, was immeasurable, and she took great pride in spoiling her four grandchildren—Kyle, Kameron, Halana, and Ava—who brought boundless happiness and light into her life.

Diane also leaves behind her sisters Dolores Brandon, Barbara Martel, Elaine Bouchard, Linda Bouchard and her son in law Mark Christensen. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Bouchard; father, Roland J. Bouchard; husband, Daniel Shackley; brother, David Bouchard; and sister, Sandra Smith.

Diane will be laid to rest at her family plot in Ossipee, NH at a later date.
