Dianne Loukedes, a vibrant and generous spirit, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on March 2, 1963, Dianne immigrated from Greece to Brooklyn, New York, in 1970. From a young age, she was a bright student, full of curiosity and a love for people that would stay with her throughout her life.
Dianne had a magnetic personality- outgoing, warm, and able to talk with anyone for hours. She had a natural gift for making others feel seen, heard, and cared for. Her home was always spotless, her door always open, and her heart always generous. Whether sharing her perfectly made spanakopita, treating someone to Chinese food, or belting out Carly Simon and ABBA in the car, Dianne did everything with passion and authenticity.
She was unapologetically herself, known for her wit, her love of joking around, and her boundless energy. She never took life for granted and instilled that same perspective in her children, teaching them to be strong, independent, and true to themselves. Watching Yankees vs. Red Sox games, laughing through crime shows like Columbo, and exchanging Winnie the Pooh poems with loved ones brought her joy and connection.
Dianne's greatest love was her family. She is survived by her daughter, Angelika Sheridan; her son, Nickolas Loukedes; her mother, Panagiota Arfanakis; her brothers, Dimitrios Arfanakis and his wife Kathryn, and Eugenios Arfanakis and his wife Ariana; and her grandson Calvin Piper. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews: Jordan, Hudson, Constantine, Evie, and Theo. She is also remembered by her former husband, Peter Loukedes.
She is now reunited with her father, Konstantinos Dezerenis; her stepfather, Paraskevas Arfanakis; and her aunt, Maria Bourlokas.
Dianne’s legacy of laughter, resilience, and heartfelt generosity lives on in all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be a blessing.
For those who wish to honor her memory, donations may be made to St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104, or to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 111 Island Pond Road, Manchester, NH 03109.
