Dianne W. Raitto

Dianne Wilcox Raitto, 71, of 91 Howeville Road, Fitzwilliam, NH died peacefully at her home on December 30, 2006 surrounded by her family. Dianne was born in Keene, NH on April 16, 1935, daughter of Elizabeth and Leonard Wilcox. She was a graduate of Keene High School and settled in Fitzwilliam with her beloved husband and best friend, Art. They shared a love of family, fishing, dancing, and the simple pleasures in life. She found joy in quilting, caring for the birds around her home and watching ice skating. Dianne was predeceased by her husband, Arthur J. Raitto Jr., in 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Donna L. Kenison of Mt. Washington, NH and two sons, David A. Raitto of Fitzwilliam, NH and Michael R. Raitto of Kittery, Maine. “Nana” was happiest when surrounded by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Judy Rancourt of Westmoreland, NH. At Dianne’s request, there will be a private service for immediate family at a later date. A celebration of her life for friends and family will be announced in the Spring, she wants us to dance. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Madison Fund” for future medical expenses for her great granddaughter at TD Banknorth, 15 Central St, Troy, NH 03465.
