Dolores L. "Dolly" French, 51, of Concord, NH passed away Thursday, November 7th following a lengthy illness.
Dolly was born in Everett, MA January 9, 1962, the third of five children born to Richard Wayne French, Sr. and Jeanne Therese (Bryant) French. She grew up in Everett, MA where she attended area schools, then relocated to Concord, NH in the mid 90s and achieved her GED in Concord, NH in 1999.
Dolly worked at several retail locations throughout her life, including Caldor, Ames, Joann Fabrics and most recently, Burlington Coat Factory in Concord, NH. She was a woman of Christian Faith with charity and good-will to all, always looking for the good in everyone. An avid crafter and excellent cook, Dolly was also an insatiable reader with very eclectic taste. She also enjoyed solving word and logic puzzles.
Dolly is survived by three sisters, Barbara Weiner of Chesapeake, VA, Mary Judd of Russellville, AR, and Ellen Smith of Concord, NH; 3 nieces; Kristen Brown of Haverhill, MA, Wendy Smith of Revere, MA and Debbie French of Everett, MA; a nephew, Justin French of Everett, MA; 3 great nieces, Melissa Cannatelli of Revere, MA, Emily Brown of Haverhill, MA and Rowan Kenney of Haverhill, MA; and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents, Dolly was predeceased by her brother, Richard French, Jr. of Everett, MA.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in the chapel of Pleasant View Center, 239 Pleasant Street in Concord, NH. Date and time to be announced shortly.
