Donald Bettez
Donald Bettez, 80, of Londonderry, died May 1, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Manchester, on April 1, 1932, the son of Ernest and Estelle (Forant) Bettez. He was an Air Force Korean War Veteran. Donald owned and operated Don Bettez ERA Real Estate Company for over 30 years and was an avid fan of The Boston Red Sox. He loved the outdoors and doing yard work on his John Deere tractor. He also loved sweets - especially ice cream. He enjoyed rebuilding and riding his motorcycle. He will be remembered for being generous, kind, and caring. Donald was predeceased by his wife Marion (Sconsa) Bettez in 2007, and by his daughter Deborah Proulx in 2010.
He is survived by his son in law, Robert Proulx of Manchester; his long time companion, Doris Morris of Hudson and her children whom he considered to be his extended family, Phil and Jodi Hardcastle both of Hudson, and Ryan Noyes of Massachusetts.
On Friday, May 11, 2012 there will be a gathering to celebrate his life from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street; Manchester. A memorial service will follow in the Cremation Society chapel at 11:00. Immediately following, a committal service with military honors will take place at Mt Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
