Donald E. Bull

Donald E. Bull, 81, of Heritage Heights in Concord died unexpectedly on December 3, 2002 at Concord Hospital. Mr. Bull was born on October 17, 1921 in Troy, New York. He was the son of the late George and Alida (Hoffman) Bull. He spent 22 years in the U S Army and retired as a Major in 1964. He served in both World War II and Korea where spent time in Korea, Burma, Taiwan and Okinawa. After retiring from the military he moved to Littleton and opened Montgomery Ward Catalogue Store. He later opened Don's Color Center and North Country Art Gallery which he operated with his wife. He was very active in the Littleton community and served as a Selectman and was an active member of the Lions Club where he was awarded a Lifetime Membership for outstanding service. He was also a warden and member of the vestry of All Saints Episcopal Church. He and his wife moved to Houston, Texas and then to Nashville, Tennessee and ultimately to Concord, NH. Family members include; two sons, Michael W. Bull of Manlius, NY and David E. Bull of Tobyhanna, PA; three grandchildren; one brother, Robert Bull of Troy, NY and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bull was predeceased by his wife, D. Zay (Cowden) Bull who died on December 14, 1999. A Memorial Service will be held on December 21st at 11:00 AM at Grace Episcopal Church in Concord. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Grace Episcopal Church, 30 Eastman Street, Concord, NH 03301 or to the Shaker Road School, 95 Shaker Road, Concord, NH 03301.
