Donald Allen Dunham of Conway, NH, passed away August 6, 2017, at the far too young age of 51. Don died unexpectedly at his home in Conway of Coronary Artery Atherosclerosis. Don was born and raised in Portland, Maine. He attended Portland Schools.
Don was a Jack of so many trades. He earned his CDL license to drive and deliver for Mayflower as well as driving for Brink's. From being a cook, to carpenter, he was also always caring for people he loved. Don's big heart was eager to help in any situation. He loved to cook and feed others with portions to feed an army. He was the GRILL MASTER! and tuna salad maker. His love for music and rhythm gave him the ability to become an excellent drummer. Camping and fishing were high on his favorites, along with cherishing family gatherings. He loved to be with family & friends more than anything in this world and he loved seeing everyone HAPPY.
He is survived by the loves of his life; his beloved companion Anna Calderwood of over 20 yrs. and his son Donald Justin Dunham Jr. AKA "Lil Don", both from Conway. His Father, Stanley Everett Dunham of Conway; Sisters Debbie and her husband Roy Prussner of Yarmouth, Maine; Karen Adams of Fryeburg, Maine; Linda Dunham of Westbrook, Maine; Brothers Dan Dunham of Westbrook, Maine; Stanley "Junior" Dunham and his wife Alisa of Riverview, Florida and Sister-In-law Marybeth Dunham of New Gloucester, Maine. Don was predeceased by his mother Mildred J Dunham of Conway who passed away April 2017 and Brother Robert (Bob) Dunham of New Gloucester who passed in February 2017. Don was blessed to have an abundance of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces & Nephews and friends who loved him dearly and will forever miss his presence.
A Celebration of his life will take place in the comfort of his Sister Debbie & Roy's home at 52 Sandy Point Rd. Yarmouth, Maine on Sunday the 13th at 12:00pm Noon. Friends & Family are all welcome!
