DONALD L. KING Donald L. King, 72, of Manchester, died Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center. Mr. King was born on January 31, 1934, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, the son of the late Walter E. and Alice N. (Menzies) King. He was a resident of Manchester for the past 22 years. Prior to this, he lived in Massachusetts. Mr. King was a veteran of the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a pipe fitter, for 35 years, at Local 537, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a Past Master of the Palestine Lodge, in Everett, MA and a member of the Shrine. Members of his family include; his son, Richard J. King, of Pembroke, NH; a daughter, Judith L. McDonald, of Hanson, MA; 1 step son, Marc Beaulieu, of Manchester; 4 step daughters, Celeste Lafond of Goffstown; Elise Hudon of Manchester; Monique Pinault of Litchfield; Renee Psareas, of Windham; 18 grandchildren, 10 brothers, 2 sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Mr. King was predeceased by his wife, Pauline (Roy) King, who died in 2004. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be Wednesday, April 12, 10 A.M. at Cremation Society of NH Chapel, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. The Reverend Douglas Rickard, will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal Street, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Mr. King. Arrangements are under the direction of The Cremation Society of New Hampshire.
