Donald "Don" E. MacDermod, 65, of Brookline died June 5, 2003 at Community Hospice in Merrimack following a lengthy illness. Mr. MacDermod was born on January 8, 1938 in Arlington, MA the son of Elliott and Elizabeth (Black) MacDermod. He retired several years ago from Teradyne in Nashua where he was a mechanical engineer for over thirty years. Don was a member of the National Rifle Association and member of NEWJO. He enjoyed hunting and flying his antique chipmunk around New England. He devoted much of his time camping with his friends in the wilderness and driving his unimogs across the rugged terrain. Family members include; one son, Dean MacDermod of Nashua; one daughter, Dani Carville of Dunstable, MA; his mother, Elizabeth Johnson; five grandchildren; one brother, William MacDermod and his wife, Karen of Sarasota, FL; two nephews and one niece. He also leaves behind is former wife, Doris MacDermod of New Boston. There will be a Memorial Reception on Monday, June 9th from Noon until 1 O'clock at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester with a Memorial Service at 1 O'clock.
