Donald Morrison

Donald Morrison, age 88, went home to the Lord on February 2, 2024, at Hospice House after a long journey with dementia.

He was a son, husband, father, grandfather, marine, firefighter and truck driver as well as a jack-of-all-trades.  A lifelong resident of Concord, he served his community as a member of the Concord Fire Department and the Penacook Rescue Squad after his time in the Marine Corp.  In his second career he worked for NH Distributers in Concord, as a helper and then a truck driver.

Don was an avid hockey fan and passed that on to his daughters.    He lived his life with a humble, servant's heart and love for his family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Dana S. Morrison and Elsie Morrison, and his brother, Dana Morrison.   He leaves his wife of 63 years, Sandra Morrison; his two daughters, Lee Dessanti, her husband Aleks and Sarah Morrison; and his two grandchildren, Megan Dessanti, her husband Brad, and Nicholas Dessanti.
