Donald E. Peckham (Don or Donnie) of Newmarket NH died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on July 6, 2016 he was 73
Born in Beverly Ma on January 5, 1943 the son of George E. and Olive J. (Caverly) Peckham. Don graduated from Salem High School in 1960 where he was a member of the National Honor Society. During his high school years, he played football and basketball where he received letters in both sports Don was also a member of the drum corps. After high school he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard where he was involved in search and rescue. He received an honorable discharge from the Coast Guard. During his working days, Don worked as a heavy equipment operator, construction electrician, plumbing, carpentry, hvac, woodworking and maintenance until 2001 when an accident ended his career. When he wasn't working he spent many years as an avid bowler and was the coach of the women's softball team the Demons and the Go Betweens. At home he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren cooking, gardening and at his pool where he called it "his mind eraser"

To my children Tim Terri and Chris 'I Love You, Remember this isn't goodbye, just "later" love Dad.'
