Donna Fleming, 67, a resident of Manchester, NH passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 peacefully in her home after a year and a half battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born February 21, 1951 in Keene, NH, the daughter of Margaret and the late Elwyn Beard. She was a 1969 graduate of Keene High School. Donna was an exceptionally loving person. She dedicated her life to making sure that her friends, family, and those around her were happy. She was a fighter. A free-spirit. Caring, generous, and always saw the positive side of things. She fought hard until the end because, in her words, "I fight because it's what I know how to do."
She is survived by her mother: Margaret (Peg) Beard of Windham, her daughters: Tracy Carney of Goffstown, NH and Jaime Gravel of Winchester, VA, and son: Christopher Leger of Ashland, NH, as well as her six grandchildren: Jessyca and Evan Carney, Josie and Jacob Gravel, Amanda and Nikole Leger, and her great granddaughter Ayliana Rodriguez.
No services were held per her request. She insisted on a party. Her "Celebration of Life" will take place this summer. In her honor please consider donating to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Your support can make a difference.
