Donna A. Holdsworth

Concord- Donna Alberta Holdsworth 90, of Concord, died after a period of declining health, August 22, 2016, at Harris Hill Center. Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of Harold Jewett and Alberta (Poitras) Jewett. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1944 and started a long employment history with New England Telephone & Telegraph in Operator Services and later with Customer Services until her retirement in 1986.
She married E. Edward Holdsworth of Lowell and moved to Concord in 1953. Later the family moved to Hopkinton before returning to Concord . Upon the death of her husband in 1969, she became a long time resident of the Beaver Meadow Community. She was active on the Board of the Association and enjoyed the activities and friendships of her neighbors.
She is predeceased by two brothers: Frederick O. Jewett of Barnstable, MA. and Walter E. Jewett of Nashua, N.H.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen E. Holdsworth and his wife Gerianne, of Concord and Robert L. Holdsworth of Milford, NH, four grandchildren: Elisabeth Lazzara and husband Sean of Wells, ME., Jonathan Holdsworth of Staten Island, N.Y., Amelia Holdsworth and husband Eric Bilodeau of Concord, Christopher L. Holdsworth of Austin, TX., and three great grandchildren, Quinn, Natalie and Casey Bilodeau of Concord.
The family wishes to thank the second and third floor staff at Harris Hill Center of Concord, the staff of the Homestead Unit of Granite Ledges and the CRVNA/Hospice for their devotion, love and care.
The Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with arrangements. There are no calling hours and services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
