Donna Mae Wilkes

Donna Wilkes passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. She was born September 1, 1949 in Baltimore, MD. Donna is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Bell and her husband Joseph Wilkes.

She grew up in Salem, MA. She met her husband while working in Salem. They spent many happy years together living in Florida and New Hampshire.

Donna spent her final years at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. She enjoyed talking with everyone, going to activities, and could not miss General Hospital. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers at HCNH for lighting up her last years.

She leaves behind her daughter Holly (Eric) and two grandchildren, Kyler and Marissa of Franklin, NC. She also leaves behind her cousin Linda (Don) of Nottingham, NH.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. A card, drawing, or visit can brighten someone’s day.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time.
