Doreen Olive Tuxbury

Doreen O. Tuxbury passed away on April 19th, 2021. She was born on December 19th, 1933 in Manchester, NH to Charles and Grace Tuxbury and attended local schools, graduating from Central Highschool in the class of 1951. She worked from for a short time at N.E. Tel. & Tel Co. after finishing high school and left to attend Elmhurst College in Illinois where she received a degree in social work. She returned to Manchester and worked in the field of child welfare for many years. Later she took a position with the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. She moved to Berlin, N.H. because of her work and had many friends there as well as many friends in New Hampshire. She was predeceased by her parents and one sister who died in childhood. There are no calling hours. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 3rd, at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Manchester.
