Doris J. (Nicol) Bilodeau, 82, formerly of 55 South Main Street, died October 6, 2006 at Hillsboro County Nursing Home. She was born in Manchester on February 2, 1924, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Aurore (Roy) Nichol and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She attended St. Augustin School and was a long-timer parishioner of the St. Augustin Church. She worked for many years at RCL Electronics and upon her retirement, worked at KRL Electronics. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, shopping and traveling. She visited all of the States except Hawaii. She also enjoyed summering at her camp in Seabrook with her husband and loved to spend time at the beach and taking long walks. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the widow of Alcid Bilodeau who died in 1984. Family members include two sons, Roger Robidas of Manchester and Donald Robidas of Rochester; a daughter, Jeannine Bond of Manchester; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Hysbch of Manchester; a brother, Raymond Nichol of VT; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire Chapel, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM. Urn burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help establish a fund in her memory at Hillsboro County Nursing Home.
