Doris Cook 95, of Manchester, NH, passed away on June 21st, 2026 at Maple Leaf Nursing Facility.

Doris was born on November 15th, 1930 in Manchester NH to Yvonne and Joseph Nadeau. She grew up in Manchester and attended West High School. She later traveled to California in 1948 to give herself to god and become a nun. She was known as Sister Theresea Marie. She was at Saint Josephs of Orange California for 10 years before deciding to embark on creating a family with her long time husband Paul Cook.

Doris was known for her kindness and dedication to her family. She welcomed three children and made lasting memories on Dale St in Manchester NH. She loved gardening, working on puzzles, painting, coloring and watching sports. She attended church at Saint Francis. Her love of chocolate will never be forgotten.

Doris is survived by her children Michael Cook, Cathy Buchan, and Cheryl Parent. By her grandchildren Matthew (Rappa) Buchan, Michael Parent, Corey Buchan and Amy Tremblay. By her great grandchildren Codie Buchan, Carter Buchan, Jayvien Harvey, Dylan Troy Buchan and Rhett Buchan. Doris is preceded in death by her husband Paul Cook and sisters Lea Spenard and Claire Briggs.

They will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
