Doris S. Masson

DORIS S. MASSON Doris "Dot" S. (Baker) Masson, 60, of Northfield, NH, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Franklin Regional Hospital, in Franklin. Mrs. Masson was born on June 9, 1947, in Manchester, the daughter of the late Lucien and Marie-Claire (Janelle) Masson. She was a long-time resident of Manchester and employee of the VA Hospital, up until moving to Northfield, NH with her husband, Lawrence Baker, Jr., in the 1990's. Her favorite things were family gatherings, gardening, sending e-mails, and decorating. Members of her family include, her husband, Lawrence Baker, Jr., her children, Marie-Claire Garcia (Bouchard), Suzanne I. Stevens (Bouchard) and Donald A. Bouchard, step daughters Barbara R. Reynolds, of SC; Jessie Baker, and stepson Eric Baker, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Richard Masson, Donald Masson and Raymond Masson, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. IN HER LIFE: Doris was a devoted wife, loving mother and memere and great grandmother. She adored animals and had a keen understanding for their needs. Her biggest joys were weekend meals with family and surprise visits from family members. Doris had a kind heart and strong spirit. She will be forever be missed and loved by all. A memorial gathering will be Wednesday, May 14, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 AM. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mrs. Masson.
